Timesheets Forms
Construction industry employees typically choose their profession over desk jobs because they like to work outdoors and don’t like paperwork. We kept that in mind as we were creating the forms in this group. The timesheets are easy to fill out and shouldn’t take much time to complete. However, at the same time, each form gathers enough information to help you track time spent on each task on each job.
This group of downloadable forms includes:
Timecard Detail
The timecard detail sheet tracks when an employee starts work, lunch breaks and ending time. This timecard is designed for those companies that don’t need to track the phase of the job an employee is working on but instead monitors in and out for each job. This timecard is perfect for a business that focuses on a specific type of work and doesn’t need a breakdown by categories. Specialty contractors like plumbers, electricians, or painters would benefit by using this timecard.
Weekly Timesheet
The weekly timesheet was designed for quick data entry into QuickBooks accounting software. This timesheet matches the QuickBooks timesheet and is designed to be used in conjunction with the Timesheet Categories list included in this group.
Timesheet Categories
It is critical that you devise a coding system for timesheets that link to your estimating and job costing systems. Our timesheet categories include 33 categories, beginning with Permits and ending with Special Construction.
