Time and Materials Contract
Written contracts are important for contractors. The basic purpose of every construction contract is to define the rights and obligations of the contractor and owner.
Often called a T & M contract, this contract looks similar to the Cost Plus contracts. However, T & M contracts include markup for hourly labor rate as well as an amount for “Contractor’s Fee” or “Overhead and Profit”.
