Written contracts are important for contractors. The basic purpose of every construction contract is to define the rights and obligations of the contractor and owner.
Use this contract if you expect your client may require several changes as the job progresses. Under this contract, the owner agrees to reimburse the contractor for the direct cost of the work plus a percentage of all costs incurred to cover overhead and profit.
